CCAA Visit

In April, Gladney's China program was pleased to host several senior officials from the China Center for Adoptive Affairs (CCAA), including Director General Lu Ying. In addition to meeting with the Council on Accreditation, which certifies non-profit agencies for the US State Department, Mr. Lu specifically wanted to tour New York's Upper West Side. Apparently this part of Manhattan has an exceptionally high number of families with children from China.

Early in their six-day visit, Mr. Lu and his colleagues were treated to a breakfast by Gladney families Evan & Mary Davis and Mark & Fiona Donovan. Both families have adopted three daughters from China. At the end of the trip another breakfast was hosted by David Stanke & Sarah Lee, whose four children include a son and a daughter from China.
