Now that the camp has concluded, these are some of the closing thoughts of camp leaders, CCAA officials, parents and children.

Letter of Gratitude

by CCAA

August 24, 2007

To all the parents of the children who participated in 2007’s “Embrace China, Feeling Beijing” Summer Camp:

From August 15th to August 23rd of 2007, China Center of Adoption Affairs has successfully completed the “Embrace China, Feeling Beijing” Summer Camp event.

We would like to take this opportunity to extend our utmost appreciation to all of you, for you have entrusted us to care for your children, and have allowed your children and all of us to spend a memorable time together. Thank you all for your trust and tremendous support of our work in China inter-country adoption. The CCAA will continue on our mission: “Everything for the children, and for the children’s everything.” We will continue to work hard for orphaned and disabled children to help them return to families, return to society.

We would like to know, at this moment: has your child returned safely to their loving home? To their parents who missed their children for the past week? We are waiting to hear the news of whether your child has arrived safely. If your child has already arrived safely, please let the CCAA know, because everyone who had cared for them while they were far away is waiting anxiously for news of these children.

To our dearest parents, please accept our blessings for your family. For the past ten days, we have been with your children day and night, and experienced the most touching moments together. We have experienced the most unforgettable memories together with your children through 2007’s “Embrace China, Feeling Beijing” Summer Camp. If your child has any thoughts and comments on their experiences during this Summer Camp event, please send us their comments and let us share your thoughts and feelings together.

Best wishes,

CCAA
